Red-X brings to the general MIT crowd all they have been awaiting .If adventure and a date with nature is what one is looking for, we take them right into the nature’s odyssey. Our trips and treks to Coorg, Charmadi Ghats, Kemangundi and now Kerala are awaited by students of all years. The thrill, the excitement and the exhilaration of trekking up the Malabar hills, the breathtaking beauty and drenching in the waterfalls is inexplicable.
Coming to talk about adventure sports, our events like wall climbing, river crossing, and wall rappelling can set your pulse racing and rush adrenaline into your veins. These events of ours are especially an awesome experience for those who are amateurs to adventure sports. With the proper safety precautions, even they get to experience the tingling joy and fear of hanging in mid air way above the ground in a virtual war between them and gravity.
And if you think that’s all we do, well read again……everything a student awaits.
Looking for self satisfaction by serving the needful?? You needn’t go too far. Red-X’s sub wing Disha brings smiles on the faces of several under privileged children. At present, our members, devoted to this noble cause, teach subjects like English, computers to children in specific schools in and around manipal. The unimaginable satisfaction that those smiles bring to us is something one doesn’t want to miss.
Not just that, experience the craze, the speed, the passion through our automobile club V8, the only of its kind in Manipal. It holds events like slow biking, go-karting championship (a flagship event which was even covered by Times of India, Mangalore and the overdrive) So speed freaks what are you waiting for?………

One can be more than just a mere spectator….
One can begin as a volunteer and with time learn how things function in this club. Once you get a hint of what’s happening behind the scenes, you become part of Red-X as a functional member…… you get to face ground realities and this is where your managerial skills come into play. With time, you learn what several professionals learn in the first few years of their work. You learn how to work as a team, how to tackle different problems as well as different kinds of people and a lot more.
Thus there’s no way one can define Red-X except for REDEFINING EXCELLENCE
